Professor John Holt recorded three trumpet concertos with the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Kirk Trevor to be released on the Crystal Records label later this year.
These three concertos are:
Concerto for trumpet and orchestra
Alexandra Pachmutova (revised version)
Concerto for trumpet and strings
Eric Ewazen (revised, premier recording)
Concerto no. 2 for trumpet and orchestra
Anthony Plog (premier recording)
In May, Mr. Holt will returning to Bratislava for another recording of French trumpet concertos.
