Professor Emeritus John Haynie gave a masterclass over his book
How to Play High Notes, Low Notes (And All Those in
Between) in the January 28, 2004 Trumpet Departmental at
UNT. En masse, the trumpet department participated.
Needlesstosay, it was quite a "joyful" noise produced by the 75+
attendees. Mr. Haynie covered how best to work from his book and
provided two handouts for better study from his book. The handouts

Professor John
Holt recently went on a tour to Murray State University, The
University of Memphis, and the University of Mississippi with Natalia
Bolshakova. On the tour he performed selections from his upcoming CD
recording featuring the music of Joseph Turrin and Eric Ewazen.
