Gottfried Wagner, great grandson of Richard Wagner and a musicologist and important scholar in his own right, will be in residence at the College of Music from March 27 through the 31st as part of the T.H.E. Lecture Series and also a guest of the Center of Schenkerian Studies.  He will give a lecture entitled "From Wagner to Hitler" which will take place in Wooten Hall, Room 222, at 4pm.  In addition, he will meet with Professor Timothy Jackson's class, "The Holocaust and Music," from 12-1 on Monday, March 29 and Wednesday, March 31.  See his full schedule below and contact Prof. Jackson with questions or comments at 940.565.3748.
