Welcome to the COM General Access Lab

As a service to UNT students, the College of Music houses a computer lab with internet connectivity and standard browser and productivity software.

In addition to those packages, the 42-station COM lab provides access to numerous music software packages such as Peak, Finale and ProTools as well as a recording studio and audio equipment for checkout.

Want to learn to record? :

To work in the studio with an engineer and get hands on training on how a studio works you can request time to work with our engineers on sessions. If interested email us:

WANT TO CHECK OUT AN iPod?

 

If you're a music student and would like to use an iPod Nano for a semester to conveniently store and listen to your class music assignments or repertoire lists, simply click the iPod to put in a request.  (only enrolled music students are eligible)

In addition to our new recording studio we also offer 2 high end post production work stations in the main lab as well as a seperate 8.1 production studio for students to use. Open to all UNT students. Please email us at music.labrecording@unt.edu for information
