Dr. Warren Henry is currently
Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. Dr. Henry received
his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Music Education from the Crane School
of Music (Potsdam, NY) and his Ph.D. in Music Education from Michigan State
University. Before joining the faculty at the University of North Texas in
1995, Dr. Henry worked in the New York State public school system for ten
years. At UNT he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, and is the founder/director
of the UNT Early Childhood Music Program. He is an active clinician and researcher,
and he has presented many sessions at national and international conferences.
Dr. Henry's publications can be seen in the Journal of Music Teacher Education,
Contributions to Music Education, Early Childhood Connections, and Arts,
Education, Policy and Review.
