 Dr. Don Taylor is currently Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas. He holds a Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of Texas at Austin, Orff Schulwerk certification from the University of Memphis, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Taylor teaches classes with an emphasis in elementary music education and serves as the coordinator for student teaching. His prime areas of research include children’s singing and teaching effectiveness within Orff Schulwerk instruction. He has presented his work in local, state, national, and international venues.
